Philip Ó Ceallaigh
Philip Ó Ceallaigh was born in County Waterford.
His story collections are Notes from a Turkish Whorehouse (London/Dublin, Penguin, 2006), for which he was awarded the Rooney Prize for Literature in 2006; and The Pleasant Light of Day (Penguin, 2009).
He has lived and worked in Britain, Spain, Russia, the US, Kosovo, Georgia and Bucharest.
